About the Study

Influenza A viruses are the only Flu viruses known to cause flu pandemics. One of the subtypes of the influenza A virus H5N1 is known to be highly contagious among birds. There is an increase in the incidence of H5N1 avian influenza currently globally, with sporadic cases reported in mammals.

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety, expected reactions, and immune system response of the mRNA-based investigational pandemic H5 influenza vaccine candidate (including dose-finding) in adults 18-85 years old. During this study, there is a 17% chance of a placebo. There is no cost for participating in our research study, and you will be compensated for your participation.
