About the Study

Chronic migraines are intense and frequent headaches that occur on 15 or more days a month for at least three months, with at least eight of them being migraines. They often come with additional symptoms like nausea, light sensitivity, and can last for hours or even days. These migraines can severely disrupt daily life, causing missed work or school days and impacting mental well-being.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Dysport in preventing chronic migraines in adults compared to a placebo. Clinical research has demonstrated that BoNT-A, a component of Dysport, can decrease migraine headaches in adults with chronic migraines. BoNT-A works by inhibiting neurotransmitters, such as calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), which play a role in migraine development. Additionally, it may target other factors that contribute to migraine triggers. Insurance is not needed nor required to participate, and you will be compensated $77 per office visit.
