A Flu Vaccine Study for Adults 65+
Researchers are evaluating a seasonal flu vaccine for adults age 65 and older. If you have not received a flu vaccine within the past 6 months, you may qualify to participate.You May Qualify If You:
✓ Are 65 years of age or older ✓ Are generally healthy or have health conditions that are stable ✓ Have not had a flu vaccine within the past 6 months ✓ Have not had a confirmed case of the flu within the past 6 months Additional eligibility requirements apply.About the Flu Vaccine Study
This Phase 3 clinical research study is comparing an investigational seasonal flu vaccine with a currently available flu vaccine for adults age 65 and older.What Does Participation Involve?
If you qualify and choose to participate:- You will receive one study vaccination
- You will have study visits and follow-up contacts
- You will use an electronic diary to provide health updates
- You may be asked to collect a nasal swab if you develop flu-like symptoms

You do not have to be in perfect health to participate. Adults with ongoing health conditions, including certain heart, lung, kidney, liver, metabolic, neurologic, or blood conditions, may be able to participate as long as their condition is considered stable.
