Rochester Clinical Research Quilting

Several of our dedicated staff members are passionate about quilting. Our “home-away-from-home” walls are the perfect place to share the fruits of their labor. One of our walls proudly displays quilts destined for fundraisers supporting worthy causes, such as breast cancer research. Others hold deep sentimental value, like the quilt made by a staff member’s grandmother to celebrate her granddaughter’s arrival. Originally meant for a hope chest, it now brings hope and comfort to our visitors.

Pieces of work

Additionally, we are honored to feature quilts on loan from the Rochester Quilt Guild—Pieces of Work. We delight in showcasing these beautiful creations and welcome contributions from others.

Importance of Quilting

The process of making or appreciating a quilt offers profound life lessons. It’s about connecting different pieces, stitching them together to create something unique that is both beautiful and practical. Quilts symbolize creativity, comfort, and care. Perhaps that’s why we cherish them so much at Rochester Clinical Research.
