Adults living with obesity or overweight who do not have type 2 diabetes may qualify for a research study evaluating an investigational once-weekly injectable medication for weight management.
The purpose of this study is to better understand how well the investigational treatment works in reducing body weight, improving weight-related health measures, and evaluating its safety and tolerability. Researchers will also study how the investigational medication may affect blood sugar levels, cholesterol, blood pressure, body composition, and quality of life.
Qualifications
You may be able to join if you:
-Are at least 18 years of age
-Have obesity with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater
OR have overweight with a BMI of 27 or greater and at least one weight-related medical condition
-Have a history of at least one unsuccessful dietary effort to reduce body weight
-Do not have type 2 diabetes
