The flu can be more serious for older adults and may sometimes lead to complications or worsening of existing health conditions.
This study is evaluating an investigational mRNA-based seasonal flu vaccine in adults 65 years of age and older. Researchers will compare the investigational vaccine with an age-appropriate, licensed seasonal flu vaccine to learn more about flu prevention, immune response, and vaccine safety.
If you qualify and choose to participate, you will receive one study vaccination and be followed by a dedicated research team during flu season. The study team will monitor your health and ask you to report any flu-like symptoms during the study.
